The observation concentrate on physicality of the patient including but not limited to color of eye, nose shape, nails, lips observation, and movements. These quantities help Ayurveda practitioners to decide general health of the patient.
  • The second step is “touch” to check pulse, perform auscultation, palpation (process of pressing body areas), tapping, checking nails and various physical touch testing. Second stage of the process also involve laboratory testing of patient to find further illness, if have any.
  • The third stage which involves questioning from the patient, in this process Ayurveda practitioner question on the symptoms from the patient to find the problem and at the same time investigate mental health of the patient.
